In the 1930s, The Aerodrome pageants drew huge crowds and were a chance for spectators to see aircraft fly, to experience technology they had never seen before and to see the Royal Air Force in action. This Centenary year we will be bringing this tradition back to the Hendon Aerodrome, which is now home to the newly transformed Museum. Join us for this family festival that will capture some of the magic of the past Hendon Pageants. 11am - 5pm The festival will feature: - Live vintage music including Silver Ghost, Auntie Maureen and Joe Thomas

The London swing dance community join The Silver Ghosts seven piece swing orchestra for a Friday evening of high spirited revelry in the capital.
The Café in the Crypt may be underground but there's no secret that it is one of London's hottest music venues. While tapping to the tunes, you can soak up some stunning Georgian architecture and enjoy fantastic food and drink provided by the team that has just been awarded the Les Routiers Cafe of the Year 2012. £10-15

There will also be a menu of platters and bar snacks available to order on the night, and it is also possible to reserve tables with Champagne but without the set menu. The establishment even sell cigars, so you can sit outside in the private candlelit courtyard, puffing on a stoogie like a Mob Boss.
